Kayak in the Pool

Daddy tried out his Christmas present in the pool this afternoon.

"Outside, outside!!!"

Aidan is obsessed with going “outside”. We were lucky that the weather in Chicago was so mild for this visit; it was in the 30’s and 40’s the entire time except for the day before we left. We woke up to an inch and a half of snow and temps in the single digits. That morning, Aidan kept telling us that he wanted to go outside. So we bundled him up and took him in the backyard to play. This was the first time that he had seen snow in a year. He was confused at first but loved it!

We went to the Lego Store and Aidan found a Cars Lego set. We told him that we would get it for him, but he didn’t understand that we needed to pay for it first. He kept trying to run out of the store with it in his hands.
